Muße, otium. tempus otii oder otiosum (der Zustand od. die Zeit, wo man von Berufsgeschäften frei ist, die Mußestunde, Mußestunden). – operis otium (der Zustand od. die Zeit, wo man frei ist von Arbeit). – tempus labore od. negotiis vacuum, auch bl. tempus vacuum (die Zeit, wo man gar keine Geschäfte hat). – tempus subsicivum. tempora subsiciva,n. pl. (die Mußezeit, Mußestunden als Zwischenzeit zwischen den Berufsgeschäften). – M. von etw., von seiten einer Sache, otium ab alqa re: vollkommene, vacatio alcis rei (z.B. omnium munerum). – gelehrte M., otium litterarum: der M. hat, otiosus; vacuus negotiis: M. haben, otium habere; otiosum esse; otium alci est: viel M., M. im Überfluß haben, multum otii habere; otio abundare: otio diffluere (gleichs. in Muße aufgelöst sein): keine M. haben, temporis vacui nihil habere: M. haben zu etwas, otium habere ad alqd: M. haben für etwas, vacare alci rei: ich habe keine M. zu etw., alqd faciendi otium non est: M. bekommen, otium nancisci; venire in otium; otium alci contingit: wenn ich etwas M. bekomme, ubi quid otii datur: Muße gewähren (lassen, übrig lassen), otium tribuere (z.B. quantum mihi res publica otii tribuet): seine M. zu etwas verwenden, otium conferre ad alqd; otium collocare oder consumere oder conterere in alqa re: wie könnte ich meine M. besser anwenden? ubi enim melius uti possumus hoc otio? – mit M., otiose; per otium. – bei M., zur Zeit der M. (in der Mußezeit, in den Mußestunden), otii tempore; operis otio; tempore subsicivo od. (allemal) temporibus subsicivis; ubi negotia faciunt locum otio.
